Open Friendlies

Friendly matches in Lazy Football are designed to give every manager a space for experimentation, learning, and social play — completely risk-free. Whether you want to try a new lineup, test your tactics, challenge friends, or simply play for fun, friendlies are always available. These matches do not affect your rankings or statistics, so you’re free to experiment without pressure or consequences. They’re the perfect tool for both new and experienced managers to practice, compete, and connect with others.

How to Organize a Friendly

You can arrange a friendly match in two ways:

  1. Open Challenge: Post a public match request that any team in the game can accept. The request will display your team’s Power11, but any club — no matter their Power11 — can accept and play.

  2. Direct Challenge: Send a challenge to a specific club via their team profile (even if you’re not friends), or to a friend via the Union > Friends tab. All direct challenges and pending invites are displayed in the Union > Friendlies section for convenience.

Key Features & Rules

  • Unlimited Matches: Play as many friendlies as you wish — there are no daily or seasonal limits.

  • Free & Risk-Free: All friendly matches are now completely free. Players do not get tired, suffer injuries, or gain experience/boosts from these matches.

  • No Rewards: Friendlies don’t generate income, rewards, or progression for your team. They’re strictly for fun and practice.

  • Flexible Scheduling: Set up matches from 15 minutes in advance to up to 72 hours ahead (limited to today, tomorrow, and the day after tomorrow).

  • Team Power11 Display: Each match request shows the Power11 of the team sending the invite, so you know what to expect — but any team can accept, regardless of their own Power11.

  • No Cancellations: Once a request is sent, it cannot be canceled or withdrawn.

Friendlies are the ideal environment to develop new strategies, organize training sessions with your friends or union members, or just enjoy the social side of Lazy Football — without any consequences for your club’s standing.
